Play Classic Board Game Clue
Classic Board Games?
OK, i have to look after three kids for 10 days, they’re 8, 10 and 12.. i need some board games that’ll keep em busy and will be just fun! but i’m having a complete braindead evening thinkin of any classics..
so far i have Monopoly and Clue, two fun games for any age 
can anyone think of any others that kids their age can play and still find fun? i’d prefer them to be board games and not like dvd/computer games cause we wont have anything like that where we are

You didn’t mention if the kids are boys or girls…that could make a difference.

Trouble
Chinese Checkers
Risk (although this is probably recommended for ages 10 and up, might be a little too advanced for an 8 year old).
You could also get some two player games like checkers and have two of them play, while the third child gets to play “the winner”. The 3rd child could also do something else while the game is going on, they don’t all have to play every game against each other.
Plus, there are a lot of card games they could play.. they could play 3-way “war” for instance. War is purely a game of luck, so even the 8 year old could win his/her share of games.
Good move not to get video or DVD games, btw…. interaction between kids is better over a board game than over video games. They probably way more crappy video games at home than they need, if they’re like the vast majority of kids.
