Are there any online or downloadable versions of the classic scrabble game .. something that pretty much follows the original….. not a variation on it..
preferably where one player can play against the computer
further to my previous question.. does anyone know of an online version of scrabble that is UK based and uses english words…
I tried quadrplex but its american and some of the words that the other players use are just totally silly…. such as ER, TUI, ZA,
Try Literati on Yahoo.
It uses an American English dictionary, but besides a few strange 2 letter words, and the obvious differences (colo(u)r, hono(u)r etc) you can pick it up pretty quickly. It’s worth sticking with.
