Monopoly Junior Game
What games can I play when I babysit where no one loses, or everyone wins?
I babysit two boys, one is 10 years old, the other is 6. The younger one is obsessed with Monopoly junior, and the older one absolutely HATES playing Monopoly junior, therefore he refuses to play it. The younger one absolutely HATES losing, and if something bad happens to him, such as landing on someone else’s property, or losing in a different game, he throws a HUGE fit! He tries to hit the older brother, screams, crys, slams doors, and I have to literally restrain him and pin him down so he doesn’t hit the older brother. Last time I babysat, he slammed his finger in the door by accident when he was in the middle of a fit. I’ve run out of ideas for activities or games to play where everyone wins or there’s no such thing as losing. Any ideas?
When I used to babysit we would build a giant fort out of blankets and pillows and stuff. I was obsessed with building things so it would be huge, cover the whole living room, and have a maze and everything. Using some string and clothespins, with every blanket in the house, it doesn’t take too long. Young boys like to help build it, love to play in it, and at the end of the night, they can have a blast tearing it all down. There’s very little clean up, and it’s fun, though not really a game.
